This Privacy Policy explains how EventTrey collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and deletes personal information when you use the EventTrey mobile app, web app, website, vendor tools, event planning tools, booking tools, communication tools, support channels, and related services.
For this Privacy Policy:
- “EventTrey,” “we,” “our,” or “us” means the operator of the EventTrey platform.
- “Platform” means the EventTrey app, web app, website, dashboards, portals, tools, and related services.
- “User,” “you,” or “your” means any person who accesses or uses EventTrey.
- “Vendor” means a business, service provider, individual provider, or organization that uses EventTrey to manage event-related services, profiles, inquiries, bookings, communication, operations, or customer relationships.
- “Customer” means a person or organization using EventTrey to discover, communicate with, request, book, manage, or coordinate event-related services.
- “Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
EventTrey is a software-as-a-service platform that helps event-related businesses, vendors, planners, and users manage event services, profiles, inquiries, bookings, communication, business information, and related workflows.
EventTrey provides software tools for event operations and vendor/customer coordination. EventTrey is not the direct provider of the event services listed, offered, arranged, or managed through the Platform. Vendors and service providers remain responsible for their own services, pricing, availability, licenses, permits, staff, performance, safety, and legal compliance.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of EventTrey, including general users, customers, event planners, vendors, vendor staff, administrators, and other account holders.
1. Our Privacy Commitment
EventTrey respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
We collect and process personal information only as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, provide our SaaS services, support event-related workflows, improve user experience, help users and vendors communicate, support trust and safety, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and protect EventTrey, users, vendors, and the public.
EventTrey is intended for use in the Philippines and may also be accessed by users outside the Philippines. Where applicable, this Privacy Policy is intended to align with the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012, its implementing rules, and guidance from the National Privacy Commission.
2. Information We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you use EventTrey.
2.1 Account Information
When you create or manage an account, we may collect:
- Full name, email address, phone number
- Password or authentication credentials
- Profile photo, account role, account status
- Login method and authentication provider ID
- Security and verification information
- Account and communication preferences
You may create or access your account using email, phone, Google Login, Facebook Login, Apple Login, or another supported authentication method.
2.2 User, Customer, and Event Planner Information
If you use EventTrey as a customer, event planner, or general user, we may collect:
- Name, contact information, profile information
- Event type, date, location, guest count, and preferences
- Saved or favorite vendors, search and filter activity
- Inquiry history, booking requests, and booking history
- Communication with vendors, reviews and ratings
- Support requests, reports, disputes, or complaints
- Uploaded photos, files, or attachments
2.3 Vendor and Business Information
If you use EventTrey as a vendor, vendor staff member, business owner, or service provider, we may collect:
- Business name, owner or representative name, business contact details and address
- Service area, vendor category and subcategory, business description
- Services offered, packages, pricing, and availability
- Photos, videos, portfolio items, and business media
- Staff or team information, business documents
- Permits, licenses, certifications, or verification records
- Booking history, customer inquiries and communication, reviews and ratings
- Vendor status, subscription or plan information, boost/promotion usage
- Support requests, complaints, disputes, or reports
- Payout-related information, if payment or payout features are enabled
Vendor profile information may be visible to other users depending on the Platform's features and your account settings.
2.4 Vendor Verification Information
EventTrey may request vendor verification information to support trust, safety, fraud prevention, and business validation, including business registration documents, permits, licenses, certificates, government-issued identification, proof of address or ownership, tax-related information, and other category-specific compliance documents.
Verification information is used for review, approval, security, compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and platform safety. Verification documents are not intended to be publicly displayed unless clearly stated or approved.
2.5 Booking and Event Workflow Information
EventTrey may collect information related to event planning, booking, and workflow management, including event details, requested services, booking request details, vendor responses, booking status, service dates and times, location information, notes and instructions, contract or agreement acceptance records, cancellation or reschedule details, refund or dispute details, and uploaded files, photos, or documents related to the event or service.
If EventTrey stores proof of agreement, we may retain records showing who accepted terms, when they accepted them, what version they accepted, and what booking or service details were shown at the time.
2.6 Messages and Communication Information
EventTrey may allow users, customers, planners, vendors, vendor staff, admins, or support teams to communicate through the Platform. We may collect and store in-app messages, message timestamps, sender and recipient information, attachments, support messages, email communications, notification records, and reports or complaints about messages.
We may review communications when necessary to provide support, investigate disputes, prevent fraud, enforce policies, protect users, or comply with legal obligations.
2.7 Payment, Billing, Subscription, and Transaction Information
If EventTrey enables payments, subscriptions, vendor plans, boosts, deposits, paid listings, commissions, booking payments, refunds, or payouts, we may collect billing name and contact information, subscription plan, payment amount and status, transaction dates, invoice or receipt records, refund and deposit records, commission records, payment processor reference IDs, payout information, tax or accounting records, and dispute or chargeback records.
EventTrey may use third-party payment processors. We do not intend to store full card numbers or full payment credentials unless expressly stated and securely handled through a qualified payment provider. Payment processors may process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.
2.8 Login Information from Google, Facebook, Apple, or Other Providers
If you sign in using a third-party login provider, we may receive information from that provider, depending on your settings and permissions - including name, email address, profile photo, provider user ID, authentication token or login confirmation, and other information you authorize the provider to share.
We use this information to create or access your EventTrey account, verify your identity, secure your account, prevent fraud, and provide Platform features.
2.9 Device, App, Browser, and Usage Information
When you use EventTrey, we may automatically collect technical and usage information, including device type, operating system, browser type, app version, IP address, approximate location based on IP address, device identifiers, session information, log data, crash reports, performance data, pages or screens viewed, features used, search activity, clicks, taps, and interactions, error logs, referral source, and date and time of access.
This information helps us operate, secure, debug, improve, and measure EventTrey.
2.10 Location Information
EventTrey may use location-related information to support event planning, vendor discovery, vendor service areas, route planning, venue selection, and location-based features, including event location entered by a user, vendor business address and service area, city/province/region/country, approximate location based on IP address, and device location, if you grant permission.
You can control device location permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work properly if location access is disabled.
2.11 Photos, Files, Documents, and Uploaded Content
Users and vendors may upload content to EventTrey, including profile photos, business logos, vendor portfolio photos, service images, event images, receipts, contracts, verification documents, support attachments, proof of service or delivery, and other files submitted through the Platform.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and share any content you provide. Do not upload private information, documents, photos, or personal data of another person unless you have permission or a lawful reason to do so.
3. How We Use Information
EventTrey may use personal information to:
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide SaaS platform features
- Support user, vendor, planner, and admin dashboards
- Allow vendors to create and manage business profiles, and users to view vendor and event service details
- Support event planning, booking, inquiry, scheduling, and communication features
- Store records of accepted terms, contracts, or booking conditions
- Process subscriptions, payments, invoices, refunds, boosts, or payouts, if enabled
- Verify vendor accounts and review vendor documents
- Manage customer support
- Send account, booking, service, and security notifications, and marketing messages where allowed
- Display reviews, ratings, and public profile information
- Investigate reports, disputes, fraud, abuse, or policy violations
- Enforce our Terms of Service, Vendor Agreement, Booking Terms, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and other policies
- Improve Platform performance, reliability, design, and features; debug errors and fix technical issues
- Personalize search results, recommendations, and user experience
- Protect the security and integrity of the Platform
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and audit obligations
- Protect the rights, safety, and property of EventTrey, users, vendors, and the public
4. Legal Basis, Consent, and Processing of Personal Information
Where required by applicable law, EventTrey processes personal information based on one or more lawful grounds, including your consent, the need to provide services you requested, the need to perform or prepare a contract, the need to comply with legal obligations, legitimate business interests (such as security, fraud prevention, service improvement, support, and dispute resolution), and protection of users, vendors, EventTrey, or the public.
By creating an account, using EventTrey, submitting information, uploading content, communicating through the Platform, or continuing to use our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
You may withdraw consent where allowed by law. However, withdrawing consent may limit or prevent your ability to use certain EventTrey features.
5. How We Share Information
EventTrey does not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:
5.1 With Other Platform Users Where Needed
EventTrey provides SaaS tools for event coordination and vendor/customer communication. Some information must be shared between users and vendors for the Platform to work - for example, event details shared with a vendor, service details shared with users, messages exchanged, booking or inquiry details visible to both sides, reviews and ratings visible to other users, and public vendor profile information visible through the Platform.
5.2 With Vendor Staff or Team Members
If a vendor account includes staff, team members, or administrators, certain vendor account information (customer inquiries, booking records, messages, service information, profile details, uploaded files, internal notes, reviews or reports, and account activity) may be visible to authorized members of that vendor account. Vendors are responsible for managing access by their own staff and team members.
5.3 With Service Providers
We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate EventTrey, including providers for hosting, database services, cloud storage, authentication, email delivery, SMS or phone verification, push notifications, payment processing, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, security monitoring, fraud prevention, file scanning, vendor verification, and logging and infrastructure management. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to EventTrey and are expected to protect the information they process.
5.4 With Payment Processors
If payment features are enabled, payment processors may receive information needed to process payments, subscriptions, refunds, deposits, payouts, invoices, commissions, or disputes. Payment processors may have their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
5.5 For Legal, Safety, and Compliance Reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:
- Comply with law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or government request
- Respond to lawful requests by public authorities
- Enforce our legal agreements and policies
- Investigate fraud, abuse, safety issues, or security incidents
- Resolve disputes
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of users, vendors, EventTrey, or others
- Support audits, tax compliance, accounting, or legal claims
5.6 Business Transfers
If EventTrey is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, transfer of business, or similar transaction, user and vendor information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Public Profiles, Vendor Listings, and User Content
Certain information may be visible to other users, including vendor business name, description, category and subcategory, service area, photos/videos/portfolio items, pricing or package information, availability (where enabled), ratings and reviews, public comments or feedback, profile photos or display names, and other information you choose to make public.
Do not include private, sensitive, confidential, or unnecessary personal information in public fields, reviews, comments, messages, or uploads.
EventTrey may moderate, restrict, remove, or investigate content that appears fake, abusive, misleading, discriminatory, illegal, unsafe, infringing, or in violation of our policies.
7. Vendor Responsibility for Data
Vendors may receive personal information from customers, planners, or other users through EventTrey. Vendors are responsible for using that information only for legitimate event-related purposes, such as responding to inquiries, providing quotes, managing bookings, delivering services, and communicating about the event.
Vendors must not misuse user information. Vendors should not sell user information, spam users, contact users for unrelated purposes, share customer information without permission, upload customer data without a lawful reason, use customer information for harassment, discrimination, fraud, or abuse, or move sensitive conversations or payments outside approved workflows to avoid platform rules, if prohibited by EventTrey policies.
Vendors are also responsible for complying with laws that apply to their own business, services, staff, permits, licenses, data handling, and customer communications.
8. Messages and Communications
EventTrey may store and process messages and communications sent through the Platform. We may review messages when necessary to provide the messaging feature, respond to support requests, investigate disputes, detect fraud, spam, abuse, harassment, or policy violations, enforce our policies, protect users, vendors, EventTrey, and the public, and comply with legal obligations.
Users should not send illegal, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, misleading, confidential, or unnecessary personal information through EventTrey messaging.
9. Reviews, Ratings, and Feedback
Users may submit reviews, ratings, comments, or feedback about vendors, services, or Platform experiences. Reviews and ratings may be visible to other users and may be associated with your account, profile, booking, or vendor relationship.
EventTrey may moderate, remove, restrict, or investigate reviews that appear fake, abusive, misleading, discriminatory, illegal, threatening, irrelevant, paid or manipulated, or in violation of EventTrey policies.
Do not include private information, sensitive information, or personal data of another person in a public review.
10. Notifications and Marketing
We may send service-related notifications, including account, security, and login alerts, booking updates, vendor inquiry updates, message notifications, payment/billing/subscription/refund updates, support responses, policy updates, and important Platform announcements.
Where allowed, we may also send marketing or promotional messages, such as feature announcements, vendor promotions, subscription offers, event-related updates, platform news, and product improvements.
You may opt out of marketing communications where available. Some service-related messages are necessary and cannot be fully disabled while you maintain an account.
11. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law. Retention periods may depend on account status, vendor status, booking and inquiry history, payment/billing/subscription records, vendor verification records, tax/accounting/audit requirements, legal obligations, fraud prevention needs, safety and security concerns, disputes/complaints/investigations, and backup and disaster recovery practices.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or securely retain it according to applicable requirements and our internal retention practices.
12. Account Deletion and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your EventTrey account and personal information. EventTrey provides an in-app account deletion or deletion request path, and a public web page with data deletion instructions at eventtrey.com/legal/data-deletion.
To request deletion, you may use the in-app deletion feature or contact EventTrey support at eventtrey-team@eventtrey.com. Your request should include enough information for us to verify your identity and locate your account, such as your account email address, phone number, or login method.
After receiving a valid deletion request, EventTrey will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, unless retention is required or allowed for legal, security, payment, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit, backup, or compliance reasons. Certain records may be retained after account deletion, including transaction, subscription, booking, refund, invoice, dispute, fraud-prevention, legal-compliance, tax/accounting, and security-log records, plus backup copies for a limited period.
If you are a vendor, deleting your account may remove or disable your public vendor profile, but EventTrey may retain certain business, booking, subscription, transaction, verification, dispute, or compliance records as needed.
If you used Facebook Login, Google Login, Apple Login, or another third-party login provider, removing EventTrey from that provider may stop future sharing from that provider, but it may not automatically delete all EventTrey account data. You should also submit a deletion request directly through EventTrey.
13. Facebook Login Data Deletion
If you use Facebook Login to access EventTrey, EventTrey may receive information from Facebook that you authorize, such as your name, email address, profile photo, and Facebook user ID.
You may request deletion of Facebook-sourced data by using the EventTrey in-app account deletion feature, visiting eventtrey.com/legal/data-deletion, or contacting EventTrey support at eventtrey-team@eventtrey.com. EventTrey will process deletion requests according to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
14. Google Login Data
If you use Google Login to access EventTrey, EventTrey may receive information from Google that you authorize, such as your name, email address, profile photo, and Google user ID. You may disconnect EventTrey from your Google account through your Google account settings. You may also request deletion of your EventTrey account and related personal information through the EventTrey deletion process.
15. Apple Login Data
If you use Apple Login to access EventTrey, EventTrey may receive information from Apple that you authorize, such as your name, email address, private relay email address, and Apple user ID. You may manage Apple Login permissions through your Apple account settings. You may also request deletion of your EventTrey account and related personal information through the EventTrey deletion process.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to be informed about how it is collected and used, access it, request correction or rectification, object to certain processing, request deletion or erasure, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, request data portability where applicable, file a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority, and seek damages where allowed by law.

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, and may deny or limit a request where allowed by law, such as when retention is necessary for legal, security, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, audit, backup, or compliance reasons.
17. Security
EventTrey uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including account authentication, access controls, role-based permissions, secure cloud infrastructure, encrypted connections where appropriate, private file storage where appropriate, logging and monitoring, internal review controls, security testing and maintenance, vendor verification controls, file access restrictions, and incident response procedures.
No system is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and promptly notifying EventTrey of suspected unauthorized account access.
18. Children and Minors
EventTrey is not intended for use by children below the age required to legally consent to the processing of personal information or enter into binding agreements. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information without proper consent, we may delete the information or take other appropriate action.
Parents or legal guardians may contact EventTrey at eventtrey-team@eventtrey.com to request review or deletion of a minor's information.
19. International Data Processing
EventTrey may use service providers, hosting providers, databases, storage providers, authentication providers, payment processors, analytics providers, and support tools located in the Philippines or other countries. By using EventTrey, you understand that your information may be processed, stored, or transferred outside your country of residence, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
20. Cookies, Local Storage, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
EventTrey's website or web app may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, analytics tools, or similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure accounts, measure app performance, understand feature usage, improve user experience, detect bugs, fraud, or abuse, and support analytics and diagnostics.
If EventTrey uses non-essential cookies, advertising pixels, remarketing tools, or tracking technologies, we may provide additional notice or consent controls where required.
21. Third-Party Services
EventTrey may integrate with third-party services, including authentication providers, payment processors, hosting and cloud storage providers, email/SMS/push notification providers, analytics and error tracking providers, maps or location providers, customer support tools, and social media platforms. Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms. EventTrey is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party services.
22. Links to Third-Party Websites or Vendor Pages
EventTrey may contain links to third-party websites, vendor websites, social media pages, payment pages, map services, or other external services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services. You should review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information to them.
23. Fraud Prevention and Platform Safety
EventTrey may process information to detect and prevent fake accounts, fake vendors, fraudulent bookings, payment abuse, fake reviews, spam, harassment, unsafe services, policy violations, attempts to bypass Platform systems, unauthorized access, and security threats.
This may involve reviewing account information, device information, messages, booking activity, payment activity, verification documents, reports, support records, and usage patterns.
24. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the Platform, website, email, or other reasonable means. The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of EventTrey after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
